Service Lead (3–4 days a week)

We’re looking for a skilled and service-minded Service Lead to join our small front-of-house team to start as soon as possible, working three days a week with the potential to add a fourth depending on availability (20–30 hours per week).

The ideal candidate enjoys working with high-quality tea, coffee and food, and brings warmth, focus and calm energy to the floor. You take the lead during service, coordinating the floor, supporting the team and creating a calm, well-paced atmosphere for both guests and colleagues, while balancing hands-on work with a focus on quality, teamwork and genuine hospitality.

Responsibilities + Tasks

  • Lead daily service and briefings with the team.

  • Dial in espresso and maintain coffee quality throughout the day.

  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea and (non-)alcoholic drinks to a high standard.

  • Host guests with warmth, attentiveness and ease.

  • Oversee the service rhythm and coordination between the front of house and the kitchen.

  • Maintain a calm, clean and well-organised environment throughout the shift.

  • Support and guide the team in product knowledge, workflow and guest care.

  • Communicate clearly and kindly with colleagues and guests.

  • Contribute to an atmosphere of professionalism, openness and collaboration.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality, ideally in cafés or restaurants.

  • Strong barista skills, including dial-in and calibration.

  • Excellent sense of guest care and communication.

  • Positive presence and calm energy on the floor.

  • Organised, reliable and proactive.

  • Motivated to keep learning and growing with the team.

  • Available a minimum of three fixed days per week, including weekends.

  • Ability to read and speak Dutch and English preferred.
